About the Christian Dalimier workshops
More than 30 years ago now, Christian Dalimier discovered his love for wood while walking in our Belgian Ardennes. After studying carpentry and woodworking, he learned antique furniture restoration from the great antiquarians of Liege. He worked as a furniture restorer and participated in several antiques fairs throughout the country. For about ten years he worked for private customers and for antiquarians.
But the years pass by.
In 2001, meeting with a "great" cabinetmaker changed his conception of restoration and gave him the desire to expand his operations. He decided to make inlays from different materials for floors, doors,... in order to customize the interior for everyone. He also got into creating jewelry.
Christian Dalimier works on noble materials and creates works that can be transmitted from generation to generation. Behind this simple man there is a sensitive artist that gives a piece of his soul to each one of his creations. Materials, passion, time, these are the ingredients of Christian Dalimier's work "formula".
