Foundations of Creativity

The engineering of complexity, so often associated to the economy of knowledge or of creation, has taught us today that any type of voluntary change in a complex situation should owe itself to integrate contexts and their commitments, people and their own dynamics, and the interactions that link these people into a dynamic aggregate in order to progressively create a collective response to its environment.

It is interesting to examine the public policies for economical redeployment under this angle.

Questioning oneself with regards to the quick induction of positive, satisfying and performing interactions between actors who carry a priori different interests, comes down to questioning work and collaboration methodologies. As a matter of fact, methodologies, techniques and tools are all vectors for improving (or interfering with) the interrelations between people: the soft methodologies or psychosocial methods in particular.

Relational methodologies, creative methodologies, psychosocial network assistance methodologies, socio-technical methodologies for project running, soft skills: these are all challenges, often for competence, always for efficiency.

In this perspective, thePSGO unit of the ULGleads a research-intervention about cooperation and creativity methodologies that allows for a quick induction of positive, performing interactions between actors. Based on strategic monitoring, it detects relational methodologies, creative methodologies, psychosocial network assistance methodologies and socio-technical project methodologies, and decodes cooperative dynamics. The unit translates these methodologies for use in the Walloon area, but also creates new ones. It trains, assists, advises and takes action in the cooperation processes and the start-up of collective creativity. It distributes the knowledge and tools needed for these processes and start-ups.
