KIKK is an international festival of creativity in digital cultures that explores the economical and artistic implications of new technologies. At the crossroad between technology, visual arts, music, architecture, design and interactive media, KIKK probes the subject in its full sense.

Through the Konferences, worKshops and eKsperiences, it wants to provide the public with access to information and experimentation with these new possibilities. With KIKK KocKtail, the festival also honours networking and exchange between professionals. On the other hand, KIKK Kontest is the opportunity for creative minds of all horizons to show what they are capable of by accepting the challenge of creating what will be an integral part of our environment tomorrow.
Konference
50 high level speakers chosen among the best innovators and visionnaries of the digital world.
eKsperience
A cabinet of digital curiosities in which innovation has a prominent position. This hybrid space gather manipulable objects, testable prototypes, artistic pieces and interactive installations. The eKsperience space is created in partnership with the BEP (Bureau Economique de la Province de Namur).
worKshops
Through practical workshops based on a particular process or technology the participants will be able to understand the different steps of the creative process.
Kontest
A 24 hours non-stop multidisciplinary contest open to anyone that will take place on the event site and throughout the course of the whole festival. On the basis of a theme revealed 24 hours in advance: designers, webdevelopers, mobile developers, photographers, illustrators, sound designers, digital artists, installations creators or experts in any other field linked to the digital world will make digital creations using their talent and abilities. Competitors will be evaluated by an international jury of professional references within their field of activity who will select 5 winning teams.

About KIKK Festival

It is impossible to tell the history of KIKK without mentioning the organization of WIF 2010 (Webdesign International Festival- www.wif-dogstudio.be) by Namur based company Dogstudio. The organizers have created KIKK in 2011 under a new identity with a much larger operating area. This finds its expression in the encounter with the world of digital entrepreneurship and business, embodied by Dogstudio, and Superbe a company dedicated to interactive technologies, born from the association between the directors of Dogstudio and two artists of digital arts. The first edition of KIKK in 2011 attracted more than 1500 people.
